The M.2350B Core System-on-module [NGFF-RP2350B-A] is a Next Gen Form Factor/M.2 B Key connector SoM. Featuring at it’s core, a Raspberry Pi RP2350B, 16MB of onboard program flash and an onboard 3v3 1A LDO. This module exposes all available GPIOs on the RP2350B and is configurabe to allow the flash to act as a secondary flash for the RP2354B which has on-chip flash. This board utilises the common NGFF/M.2 connector with a custom pinout [not compatible with standard M.2 pinouts] for high pin count/adaptable applications. Built on a 6-layer 0.8mm PCB with ENIG plating, the entire module fits within the standard M.2 2242 short form factor, while leaving room for full sized on module reset and flash buttons.
This module was primarily designed as I create various PCBs and rather than have to redo the microcontroller circuitry every time, by just adding a M.2 connector & mounting screw, and a USB port that can provide 5V, the rest of the board has not only more space but requires less effort in soldering and assembly due to the drop-in nature of the module
